Stan’s Bio
Stan Vydrzal has always been interested in science, biology and working with his hands. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Biology and minor in Chemistry he married and moved to the Houston area to work in the chemical business. He had always wanted to perform a job that was not only important and self-fulfilling, but was an extension of his education and skill set. The chemical business was not that business. It was in 2004 at the age of thirty-four he decided to enter school in California to train in prosthetics. He returned to Houston to perform his residency and two years later obtained his ABC Certification in Prosthetics while at one of the most established and well reputed prosthetic facilities in Houston. There he gained the skills needed to treat a vast array of patient types. After spending seven years there he longed to reside in Central Texas near where he grew up and attended college. In September of 2013 he joined Peripheral Vascular Associates in San Antonio at the newly created prosthetics department.
